In order to be open safely, we are following the requirements from the CDC, the Texas Board of Optometry, and the Governor. Due to all the changes and additional safety measures, we are currently booked a few weeks out. Please note that we are doing our very best to get everyone in as quickly and safely as we can, and happy to add you to our cancellation list (Please call us to add you to the list). Thank you for your patience.
Listed below are a few changes to keep our staff and patients safe.
Changes for Patients:
- All patients will be required to bring their own mask and wear it at all times while in the office. If you do not have one, we will have one for you to use. Without use of a mask, we will not be able to see you as a patient during the COVID pandemic due to the safety of our patients and staff.
- We request that Patients do not bring any unnecessary guests with them during their visit unless they are a parent of a minor or care giver.
- New patients should fill out all paperwork online. When we are confirming your appointment, we will send you the new patient form link. It can also can be found on our website at www.eyevenuedallas.com, under New Patient Form. Please make sure you hit the submit button at the end.
- When you arrive, you may call or text our office at 469-320-1888 to see if there is a wait to ensure that there is only one patient in our office at a time. If so, we will have you wait in your car until we are ready for you.
- If possible, please text or email a picture of your driver’s license and/or insurance cards to our office prior to your appointment.
- We will be asking everyone to wash their hands prior to check-in. After washing your hands, we will be conducting a temperature check.
- We ask that you please strictly adhere to social distancing in our office.
- We offer curbside services including but not limited to drop off, pickup, glasses adjustments/repairs. Please park in the alley (by the front door) and call us when you are here.
- If you have been sick within the past 3 weeks or have been around anyone that has been sick in the past 3 weeks, we kindly ask you to reschedule your appointment.
Changes to our office protocol:
- Personal Protective Equipment is being used in our office. All staff are required to have on masks at all times when working with patients and gloves at certain times.
- At-risk patients (such as those over 65, immunocompromised, or those with underlying health conditions) will be offered the first and last spots of the schedule each day to minimize their exposure to others.
- Appointment times have been spaced out to minimize the number of patients in our office.
- We will be constantly sanitizing high traffic/touched areas in our office multiple times a day and after each patient. This includes our frames inventory, table tops, chairs, door handles, etc.
- We have added sneeze guards and breath shields in areas of close contact.
- We have plenty of sanitizer/soap in the office and cleaning supplies to ensure our office is safe and clean for our patients.
Thank you so much for your continued support in our small, locally owned family business. We will continue to take precautions to keep our staff and patients safe. We look forward to seeing you soon!
